"Be Still and Know That I am God"

This study has been compiled to present the truth which directly contradicts the lie in Satins attempt to deceive man into not allowing God to regenerate mans brain. For four thousand years Satan programmed mans mind so that man would not receive Jesus as the Messiah, and it worked. Few received Jesus. The majority rejected Him, and so, killed Him. Satan has had six thousand years to program mans mind against its’ regeneration by God, and so, man uses only a portion of his full mental capacity.

The argument today seems to be, “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth”, and God created man in His image”, and “Satan created mans brain in his image.” Most 'run of the mill' bible scholars, preachers, and teachers of today, contradict that which is clearly stated in the Bible about mans mind. They do so out of ignorance of things, which they know nothing about, fear of the spiritual realm, and unwillingness to recognize their own refusal of mental regeneration. Satan’s Haughty Spirit and Lying Spirit (Religious Spirit) are clearly in dominion in such cases.

It is clear, from scripture, that Adam was a “genius” who named all the animals on the earth, fellowshipped with (walked with, talked with, and saw) God, and was capable of seeing and talking with Satan. At the fall of man, God had to take steps to protect man from immediate and total destruction by Satan. When one closes and locks their front door at night, both friend and foe alike are locked out, so it now is in regards to the Spiritual realm.

For our protection four things occurred at the fall of Adam and Eve.

       1. God had to close our Spirits to Satan.
       2. This automatically closed our Spirits to God.
       3. And to the Spirits of our fellow man.
       4. And to our own Spirit (Pseuche and Pneuma Heb 4:12).

Christ died to reverse this curse, which means we should again be cognizant of the Spiritual realm. Awareness of one is automatically awareness of the others just as openness to one is automatically openness to the others. But now, you choose whom you’ll serve. Satan, knowing Gods spiritual purposes, has blinded the minds of most Christians to this gift of God before they hear of it. He has done this by means of the fear of “getting into error”, or equating his spiritism with Gods Spiritual. Most Christians now say meditation and visualization is of the Devil, never pausing long enough to come to the understanding that Satan has always counterfeited every good thing created by the Father. It would be better if such as these would study the Word and see what it has to say before they condemn things of which they know nothing.

Redemption is a package deal; therefore, we should do away with our “tunnel vision" and receive Gods “package”. “I would that ye prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers” (3 John 2), is one such package that covers prospering in the physical, mind, will and emotions. “ Be still and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth” (Ps 46:10), is one obvious way to receive Gods prosperity package.

Four things that occurred when’ Jesus reversed the curse.

       1. God reopens our mind to our Spirit (Heb. 4:12).
       2. Which opens us to the Spirits of our fellow man.
       3. Which reopens us to Gods Spirit.
       4. Which reopens us to Satan’s spiritism.

Satan’s counterfeit is Transcendental “Meditation, Projection, ESP, Mind control, etc. ‘ The counterfeit has you “emptying self’” which in reality, is opening oneself to demonic possession, or, “creative imagery” which’ is to say, “I am god’ and can create my own world”. Gods truth says, ‘“Slacken (relax) and see that I am God”. Both are real, both work, and both occur in the same place. The battle is in the mind… your mind. The counterfeit has either no focus or a focus on self. The real leaves one totally immersed in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

The four major points of the counterfeit are, relaxation, visualization, subliminal communication, and mind talk. These vary in usage from sect to sect, but, for the most part, can be considered constants. God has basically the same constants, but the results are considerably more acceptable. Let us examine the REAL constants. Let us also keep in mind that God wants total control of these constants at all times.

I. Visualization

A. Eze 8:8—13 Hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? For they say, the Lord seeth us not; the Lord hath forsaken the earth (v 12).

       1. Ancients: 2204 Zaqen. A prim: root; To be old: —aged man, be (wax) old (man).
       2. Do: 6213 Asah. A prim., root; to do or. make (create?) in the broadest sense of the word.
       3. Chambers: 2315 Cheder. An apartment (usually lit.): --([bed] inner) chamber, innermost (—ward) part, parlour, +south, X within.
       4. Imagery: 4906 Maskiyth. A figure (carved on stone, the wall, or any object): fig. Imagination: —conceit, image (--ry), picture, X wish.

A modern day translation. “Do you see what the people who have been around for a very long time, long enough to know better, are doing, making, or creating within, in their innermost chamber, in their conceit carving their figures in stone and painting pictures of their wishes on the mental screen of their imagination? For they say, the Lord doesn’t see in here, He has forsaken and left the land of my imagination.” I use the term “mental screen” for lack of a better terminology, and it can be considered merely a starting point for that which God has to offer.

B. 2 Ki 6:17 Elisha prayed saying, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw:
1. Open(ed): 6491 Paqach. A prim, root; to open (the senses, espec. the eyes); fig. to be observant: —open.
2. See (& saw): 7200 Raah. A prim, root; to see, lit, or fig. (in numerous applications, direct and implied, trans, intrans. and causat.)

Among numerous meanings are: discern, have experience, perceive, (cause to, let) see, visions.

It was morning, the servant of the man of God, a young man, had just awakened. He went forth and beheld a host encompass ing the city. It can be safely assumed that the young man was awake, walking about, and that his eyelids were in the open position. So why then did Elisha pray that his eyes be opened if they were already open? It was so that the young man could see in the spiritual realm with the natural eye. Can a flesh and blood human being see into the spiritual realm? The answer is obvious. When a man or woman of God prays, their eyes can be opened to the spiritual realm.

I will leave the study of dreams and visions such as Zechariah and Peter had to the diligent seeker, as well as the multitude of Angelic visitations during which mere men were asked to see or asked what they saw. These things “were not” in the natural, so where and how did they see them?

C. Heb 6:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both
good and evil.

1. Strong: 4731 Stereos. (From 2476 to stand) Stiff, is. solid, stable, (lit, or fig.): stedfast, strong, sure.
2. Meat: 5160 Trophe. (From 5142 strength, to strengthen) nourishment (lit, or fig.) by impl. rations (wages) -food, meat.
3. Full age: 5046 Teleios. Complete (in various apps. of labor, growth, mental and moral character) of full age, man, perfect.
4. Senses: 145 Aistheterion. (der. of 143) prop. an organ of perception. 143. Aisthanomai. to apprehend (prop. by the senses).
5. Exercised: 1128 Gumnazo. to practice naked (in the games), ie. train.
6. Discern: 1253 Diakrisis. judicial estimation: —discern (ing), disputation.

Stiff (solid, stable) nourishment (rations, wages) belongs to them that have grown up completely in their work habits, physical growth, mental and morel character. Who through training all of the senses in their organ of perception, can apprehend truth, through judicial estimation, sufficient to lay naked for themselves their internal dispute between what is good and what is evil. The converse of this verse is that strong meat is not for babes of any age, for they will not train themselves in anything. It is astounding how many babes in Christ there are in leadership, who honestly believe they can handle strong meat. Their attitudes alone betray them over a period of time. If you cannot hear God in your attitudes, you cannot hear God.

Modern science teaches that men today use a mere four percent of their mental capabilities. A major reason why so many Christians remain so tragically shallow is that they refuse to exercise any more than this four percent of their brain that remained useable after the fall. Redemption of their mentality remains to them, a myth, even though this verse states its case so clearly. Strong meat, absolute truth, results in skillfulness in the word of righteousness. Skillfulness in the word of righteousness results in ones own growth. “Rightly dividing the word of truth”, implies that there is a wrongly dividing the word of truth. So, rightly divide the word of truth.

II. Relaxation

A. Be still and know that I am God (Ps 46:10).
1. Still: 7503 Raphah. A prim, root; to slacken (in many applica tions, lit, or fig.): abate, cease, etc.
2. Know: 3045 Yada. A prim, root; to know (prop. by seeing); used in a great variety of senses, etc.

What is this verse saying? Slacken (relax) and see that I am God. What does one relax but his body, and where does one “see” but in their mind on their "mental screen”. What is a “mental screen” you ask? It is that place to which you go when you dream. It is the mental black board you look up to when someone asks you how to spell a word or solve a math problem. It is the screen on which God (or Satan, dependent upon whom you are open to) gives you very real dreams and visions. It is a place one cannot go unless they are pure, purely Satanic or purely Godly. Even the counterfits teach purity of body, mind, and spirit. It is a state of being that the casual enquirer cannot attain, true Spirituality. Truly Satanic or truly Godly.

B. Commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still (Ps 44).
1. Commune: 559 Amar. A prim, root; to say (used with great latitude), etc.
2. Heart: 3824 Lebab. the heart (as the most interior organ); used also like 3820; (the feelings, the will, and the intellect). + bethink
themselves, midst, mind, X unawares, understanding. (X meaning multiple usage)
3. Bed: 4904 Mishkab. a bed (fig. a bier) etc. + lying with.
4. Still: 1826 Damam. a prim, root: to be dumb, by impl. to be astonished, to perish, be cut down, quiet self, be put to silence, and others.

In the context of verses 2-5, God is referring to the abundance of what is in the heart. The glory referred to (v 2) must be internal since vanity is internal, and leasing is internal. (Vanity 7385 riyq: emptiness; fig. a worthless thing; to no purpose. Leasing — 3577 kazab: falsehood; lit. (untruth) or fig. (idols); lying). God doesn’t “fragment” when He speaks, like we do. If He is drawing our attention to the internal in two portions of this verse, He is focused on the external in the third portion.

Verse 4 contains much more than a dozen rapidly read words when understood in the light of Verses 2-5. What it is saying is: When you are lying on your bed with God, say to your mind, will, and emotions that you have been functioning in the realm of falsehood. That what you have thought in and of yourself in the midst of your mind has been worthless, has no purpose, is little more than your own vain idols, and that you have been living lies just like they were the truth. Be angry at yourself and sin not. Quiet yourself, be dumb, put yourself to silence, allow self to perish, and to be cut down. Allow God to astonish you with such as pertains to Him and in so doing, to set you apart for Himself.

Can all this really happen while lying motionless on your bed? You already know, since you already “see” the picture of it hanging in the chambers of your imagery, placed there merely by reading or hearing the above. It all happens in your brain, of which you are consciously aware of only four percent. What happened to the other ninety six percent of your mental faculties? The FALL, that’s what happened to the other ninety six percent.

III. Subliminal Communication

Subliminal communication is relatively easy to understand if we understand the definitions of the words and how they apply to us. For example, the word sublimate means, “to direct the energy of (an impulse) from its primitive aim to one that is ethically or culturally higher”, i.e. to elevate. We have used the term sublimate in terms of “to lower, suppress, bury”, which is incorrect. Subliminal means: (1) inadequate to produce a sensation or a perception, and (2) existing or functioning outside the area of conscious awareness (in the mind). (Per Webster).

In advertising, Mind Control, ISP, etc., (the counterfeits), subliminal communication is used in its first form, “inadequate to produce a sensation or a perception”. This is when words, phrases, or ideas are “run by you” so fast that your conscious mind does not register them. You will note that this “communication” affects you from the exterior to the interior, you just didn’t recognize it at a surface level and surface recognition seldom occurs. The Word works the same, from the exterior to the interior, but unlike the counterfeit, God wants you to be aware of His communication. He will see to it that His word “surfaces” if you will allow it.

For the sake of comprehension, view all the written information accumulated in your entire life as being gathered on a stack of one thousand CD’s, each capable of holding 700 Megs of information, and all the visual and auditory information accumulated in your entire life as being recorded on a stack of one thousand CD’s. Realize that your brain is equivalent to a twenty story tall and twenty block square super-computer, capable of playing all the CD’s stored in its “memory” in any order and at any time. Realize also, your brain doesn’t forget, you Just don’t know how to retrieve information.

Next realize that you are presently “inputting” information only on the top 2 CD’s. These top two can be referred to as your conscious mind, and are basically the only two “recordings” you deal with. Now, and most importantly, you must realize that the information you are putting into memory on these top levels is affected directly by all the information stored (learned) on all the previous recorded documents. The previous records, all nine hundred ninety eight of them, can be considered your subconscious mind. The input you are now recording has no effect whatever on previous records (your subconscious) unless you go back and physically change the information on those recordings. That is just too much work, so it never gets done. Recognize also that the information you are presently recording is directly affected by all the previously stored information. And, that for the most part, none of the previously recorded information is affected in any way by that which you are now recording.

So what is the point in all this? Most Christians view the subconscious as “lower” and stuff their unwanted, junk attitudes or information down where it doesn’t have to be dealt with, not realizing they are really elevating this junk to a higher plain outside the area of conscious awareness. The unregenerate, unsaved, subconscious then controls any and all responses to the surface (top CD’s), conscious mind. In the counterfeit, all information recorded in the subconscious mind must first be processed through the conscious mind. From conscious to unconscious, from flesh to spirit, where self created information remains unchanged.

God’s way involves cooperation with Him. We process the Word through the conscious mind and the Word penetrates to the unconscious, flesh to spirit. Regeneration occurs. We give God control of the spirit, Jesus manifests in the flesh, spirit to flesh. Let’s look at a simple worldly example of the conscious and sub-conscious mind to expose the lie.

The world teaches that the conscious mind is the tip of the iceberg. The unconscious is basically the unused, inner and lower self, but has great potential if we could just learn to tap into it’s/our power.

 

It took all this information to expose the counterfeit, but just a few verses will reveal the truth. God’s kind of subliminal communication is “elevating higher to exist and function within the area of conscious awareness of the mind”, it is to “program our computers” from the outside to the inside by means of His Word. His Word becomes elevated or exalted in dignity and honor in our subconscious to convert something inferior (us) to something of higher worth. (Per Webster) The Holy Spirit “brings all things to our remembrance”, from subconscious to conscious, from Spirit to flesh, and we then function under the guidance of Holy Spirit Subliminal Communication. Another kind of God given subliminal communication is His angels, sent to be ministering spirits to the Saints. Our Angels subliminally communicate (functioning outside the area of conscious awareness) Holy Spirit directives for the saints to live by which are then manifested in the flesh. Angels produce neither a notable sensation nor perception, but they do produce.

IV. Mind Talk

Mind talk is used in the counterfeit as well as the real, and is a prime media in programming the subconscious. We choose our own programming and the Bible is full of examples of what our programming should be. A quick glance displays, in broad form, what our programming is. You may find it’s time to change what you are playing on your mental screen.

A. Jos 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do
according all that is written therein:

1. Depart: 4185 Muwsh. to withdraw, cease, depart.
2. Meditate: 1897 Hagah. to murmur, to ponder, imagine, meditate, mourn, mutter, roar, X sore, speak, study, talk, utter.

Note: Never withdraw from, cease to speak, or depart from having the Word flow out of your mouth. Murmur it, ponder it, imagine it (how does one
imagine the word?), etc. This sounds surprisingly similar to the counterfeit self creating way of life, doesn’t it.

B. Ps 119:15 I will meditate in thy precepts:
1. Meditate: 7878 Siyach. to ponder, converse (with oneself, and hence aloud), utter, commune, complain, declare, meditate, etc.

C. 1 Tim 4:15 Meditate upon these things:
1. meditate: 3191 Meletao. to take care of, revolve in mind: imagine, (pre) meditate.

How can one Hagah, Siyach and/or Meletao the Word if the Word has not been entered unto their CD’s? And, how can the Word enter into the nine hundred ninety eight previously programmed CD’s, regenerate the subconscious (Pneuma), and the conscious (Pseuche) mind and turn one into a new creation? See also: Ps 5:1, Ps 19:14, Ps 49:3, Ps 13:2.

In order that the diligent seeker may further investigate dreams, visions, the opening of the senses and how they occur, the Strongs Exhaustive Concordance will reveal where the below listed definitions of the word "vision" are used. These words should provide a stable launching pad for your own study.
